4 Minute Model

Posted in General at 12:01 am by uphoto

Last Thursday I helped teach a class at Nashville State Community College with Instructor David Pavol. Students gathered to photograph the “Four Minute Model”. Each of the 11 students were given 4 minutes to setup a studio light, meter the light and then photograph our model Jackalyn. The students were also instructed to build a relationship with the model as if she were their own client. My part in all this in addition to providing the model was to critique the students’ performance. After 3 years of helping with this class Thursday's class was quite impressive. Each of them handled themselves well with the model, each one making Jackalyn feel comfortable. With a little tweak here and there we will have a group of serious photographers on our hands folks! Alright guys I’m waiting to see the results… next week. I will post some of my favorites.
