Luke

Posted in Children, Prayers at 4:55 pm by uphoto

Luke, son of Kimberly & Darin was a dream in the studio. It’s as if he knew what we wanted him to do and he did one better. What a beautiful little boy. This is the print that dad will be getting for Father’s Day (actually I’m pretty sure he’ll be getting it tonight). I ask a favor of all of you. Luke is going to be having heart surgery next week, so his family is asking for your prayers. I know he will be at the top of my list! Welcome to the Uchida family Luke!

Maui Gold

Posted in Personal at 2:25 pm by uphoto

Everyone asks me what some of my favorite parts of Maui were. Well this is definitely one of the top 3. I love pineapple, well pineapple grown in Maui is the juiciest, sweetest anywhere in the world. Deb and I loved it so much we had some shipped back to the studio. Well, it arrived today! If we had ordered more I would share it with all of you. This is Genuine Maui Gold Pineapple grown at the Maui Tropical Plantation – Welcome to Nashville!

There was the box… waiting for me after a session, what an incredible suprise.

There she is folks!

Kelly & Mark – Maui Wedding

Posted in General, Weddings at 11:28 am by uphoto

Kelly and Mark were an amazingly easy couple to work with. We met Friday morning at the Grand Wailea Hotel. Then off to our favorite Maui Cove for the ceremony.

The ceremony was intimate with just Kelly, Mark, Jordyn & Bryce

We captured some incredible family shots as well.

Everywhere you turn there is an new background.

The kids even had time to hunt for crab.

Ok, I had to throw this in. We set up this awesome shot and then the wind changed (the dress got a little wet before it was time)

I have to say Mark was ready to strike a pose anywhere we went. He was up for anything!

Sunset was amazing!

There was always a breeze there to keep everyone nice and cool.

This is from the next day – we all attended a Luau.
