Sweet Evelyn

Posted in Children, General at 2:44 pm by uphoto

Evelyn has been so cute over the past year. She is about to graduate from our Watch Me Grow series to our Bebe’ Diplome series. Her dad has been one of my close friends since about the 4th or 5th grade. Not quite sure I’d ever be photographing my friends’ children one day. Evelyn’s mommy and daddy are expecting another pretty soon. This is one of my personal favorites from her sessions.

St. Patrick’s Day?

Posted in Children, General at 1:14 pm by uphoto

Green seems to be the theme today, I keep asking if it’s St. Patrick’s Day. They tell me it’s on Monday. Anyway we snapped this cute shot of Kori right after a session with little miss Jordan.

Spring Break Visit

Posted in General, Personal at 10:34 pm by uphoto

Ok so you always here people say to their children “your growing up too fast” well my 11yr old truly is. When Kori got off the plane today, I didn’t know what to think. She is only a few inches shorter than I am. What has her mother been feeding her? Are your children supposed to be taller than you? She looks like she’s 16! All day I have been walking as tall as I could, but it’s really not helping. The fam went straight from the airport to the Zoo for a quick visit. After a few hours  riding the carousel (Samantha was still too freaked out to relax), feeding the Lorikeets and various other cool looking birds, running into a best friend, a grocery store trip and some dancing we are all ready to zonk out.
