A Perfect Day for the Zoo
Today was a great day for my family to visit the zoo. We wound up spending pretty much the whole day there. It was a wonderful overcast day with a light breeze, which made the day very enjoyable. The giraffes are out now… maybe next visit they will get a bit closer for a good family portrait. Here are a few images from the outing.
I must have been on a bird kick today. Most of the cats were hiding today.

Here are a few details you may not usually notice at your trip to the zoo.
They opened the Lorikeet Landing this time. It was a blast with birds whizzing by our heads landing on people’s shoulders and heads. They eat nectar out of your hand, a real treat for everyone. Sam was mesmerized and Kori had one crawl out onto her finger and eat from her hand. Sam got a bit warm so we cooled her down. No worries she LOVES water. Thats a Skink that Kori is petting there.

Sara & Richard – May 27, 2006
Sorry for not getting these up a little sooner. We have been crazy busy at the studio. Sara and Richard were married at St. George’s Church in Belle Meade, one great thing about the church is the great courtyard that is almost always in perfect light. Sara and Richard have the perfect combination of beauty, sophistication and fun. They were truly a delight to work with. Their reception was at the Belle Meade Country Club, we have been there over a hundred times – what a stunning place.
I know Sara from years back during her ice skating days. I can only assume that all of the great moves she had on the dance floor came from her championship skating. Richard was right there following her every step.
Guys we wish we could join you! Have fun and we will see you when you get back. Everyone keep your eyes peeled, when they get back in town we will be doing a full dressed session.

The Bug is Back
For those who don’t know, my 10yr old “Bug” (Kori’s loving nickname) lives out of state. She arrived Sunday and is here for the summer. If you venture into the studio this season she will most likely be here to greet you. Well, that is if she isn’t at the pool. She wanted to give our new clients a warm welcome and and additional cheerful hug to all of our existing clients.

Lindsay & Kyle – May 20, 2006
Lindsay and Kyle…what can we say…back flips, cowboy boots, trucks, dancin’ up a storm, family and friends, and of course BEAUTIFUL! The location gorgeous… gardens, flowers, great little spots everywhere as if out of the pages of a home garden magazine. They have got to be one of the most fun (and photogenic!) couples on this planet! Not only was their wedding absolutely gorgeous but it was so full of life and their personalities. I mean really, who else has done a backflip as part of their wedding recessional?! Their special day was a blast from beginning to end. We loved being able to spend it with them and are encouraged to know that they are blessed by such incredible family and friends who truly love them. We can see why! Best of luck Kyle & Lindsay!! We can’t wait to see you when you get back from your honeymoon.
